Michelle Phan(a.k.a RiceBunny on Twitter) is a youtube make-up guru. As of 4:18pm Saturday (EDT), she has 910,720 subcribers and her videos where viewed 222,755,256 times in Youtube. Almost all of her videos were all about how-to's of make-up. One of her most popular video was "Lady Gaga Poker Face Tutorial" which has 21,114,164 views. That's a lot of views.
Even if you’re a dude who's not into makeup, sometimes you may find yourself mesmerized by her beauty and soothing sexy voice. She's one of the perfect girls to say "Oh My God!" 5 times and by just imagining it, makes me wild and say "uhhhh...aahhh...uhhh...ahhh" too.
Biography
Michelle Phan a Vietnamese American known for creating make-up tutorials and beauty tip videos on YouTube. Michelle Phan is also a video spokesperson for Lancome. Additionally, Phan is the creator and owner of skincare line IQQU.
In July 2010, Phan was "the No. 1 self-made YouTube beauty stylist." Michelle Phan joined Youtube on July 18, 2006, and as of June 2010, she has created 100 videos that have been viewed over 150,000,000 times. Michelle Phan is also known by the screenname "Rice bunny" which she has used on the social networking site Xanga since 2004 and currently on microblogging service Twitter.
Michelle Phan was born in Massachusetts; she is Vietnamese American. Both her mother and father were born in Vietnam. Her mother raised her in Massachusetts, California, and Florida right after her parents divorced when she was a child. Phan began her artistic training at the age of 12 by teaching herself how to paint with watercolors and oil paints. She is a non-denominational Christian.
Because her family was not wealthy, Phan originally intended to major in dermatology at Tampa Bay Technical High School at the request of her mother. However, she later convinced her mother to allow her to major in illustration instead.
Before she became a Youtube guru, she worked as a waitress in a sushi restaurant.

Phan is known for her video style that incorporates her voice over instruction with music and text subtitles. Her videos are created entirely using a MacBook Pro. Popular beauty tutorials released on Phan's YouTube channel have included her "Romantic Valentine Look", "Brighter Larger Looking Eyes", "Makeup For Glasses", and "Mysterious Masquerade Look". Her most popular videos include the "Lady Gaga Poker Face Tutorial" with over 20,000,000 video views on YouTube, "Romantic Valentine Look" and "Seductive Vampire". In January Michelle used special effects in her new Lady Gaga Bad Romance video, the first for a makeup guru. The Buzzfeed profiled Phan on January 23, 2009 overnight, turning it into a viral video.
Phan's success on YouTube have garnered her significant press and recognition across the globe. She appeared in the August 2009 issue of Seventeen Magazine, the St. Petersburg Times on August 23, 2009, the Sun Sentinel on August 24, 2009, and on the popular blog BellaSugar on April 19, 2009. Phan was also featured in a Chilean newspaper for her Barbie video. Recently, Phan was also published in May's issue of NYLON magazine. She appeared in Forbes Magazine as well. In 2010, Phan was hired by Lancome as their online video producer. Her videos will include Lancome beauty products.
Other works
Phan worked as a makeup artist backstage at the Chris Benz fashion show during New York Fashion Week 2009. She also did makeup backstage for the Michael Kors Spring 2010 Collection event. She was also the makeup artist for Late Night Alumni's (whom she has expressed being a huge fan of) music video, "Finally Found."
Phan is also part of the JedRoot, Inc. family of makeup professionals.
Philanthropy
In response to a Tampa sexual assault case, Phan helped organize a charity fashion show called "Fashion for Compassion" in September 2008, raising over $20,000 for the victim.
Personal life
One of her hobbies is playing video games. She is a Final Fantasy fan. She attended Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida.
She is currently living in Los Angeles, California.
